Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills or staining) in one session without having to swap out devices. They can also reduce space in comparison to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bin, refill their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads from the dock that is specifically designed for them.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's one of the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual gets you running in no time. It comes with the complete dust bag, water tank and a hard floor solution.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to swiftly take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a range of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you'd like for each room.

You can, for example ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front collision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too, with the robot being able to detect tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. Its only minor issue is that it tends to hit objects and walls at full speed - but a quick glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's avoided.

The docking station features a handy LCD screen that indicates the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It also mixes detergent into the tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last 136 mins in normal mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to view all the details of the cleaning.

2.  affordable robot vacuum  is the latest version of the company's top robot mop and vacuum. In contrast to the model of last year this one has two agitators in its mopping pad, which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power which allows it to remove finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.

The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it avoid obstacles such as walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates two cameras that can recognize objects, and determine if they're walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its path automatically and clean them without missing a step.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons which include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock and a home button to bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin is auto-refilling.

The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth when required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for manual washing. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a number intelligent features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and set up these advanced features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you plan cleanings and monitor battery life. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is an industry leader with its innovative features, top suction power and advanced mowing abilities. Its innovative design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.

The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the best options available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair dust, crumbs and any other dry mess. It comes with a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without using a pad. In addition the X40 is quiet in it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of sound when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.

The X40 also comes with a side brush that is able to be lifted and extended. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean curved furniture like chairs and table legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile which makes it an ideal choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots.  affordable robot vacuum  is a nice touch that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by excessive back-and-forth movements.

Unlike some other robots that only focus on one thing, the X40 is capable of performing both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or individually. It can also be programmed to avoid areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors or vice versa. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.

The app is simple to use and understand and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, look at floor plans and maps, and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also keep track of its progress, and alert you when it is finished.

The X40 is easy to keep clean and has numerous features that make it an excellent option for busy families. The docking station can automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads, then refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect when the mop pad is full and notify you when it gets overflowing, reducing the requirement for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive models available, but it packs in numerous additional features that distinguish it from. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This utilizes two mops that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and has a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is significantly higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles and also pick up spills and wet spots.

The mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after every use. This is a great feature as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a system has yet to be seen on other robot vacuums and mop models and could be a great method of keeping your home cleaner for longer.

There's an impressive amount of settings available, including the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. The app allows you to set these preferences or make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and provides a variety of options for customising the cleaning process, and there are numerous features that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles instead of relying on an individual setting.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this list but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. The mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mop is great for hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
